PREMIER SPORTS MASSAGE AND FITNESS
We’ve been through the injuries ourselves, and we know exactly how you must be feeling. But we also know what to do to fix it. That’s why we founded Premier Sports Massage and Fitness - to put our passions into helping people recover from injury and get into the best shape possible.
With our clinic based in Macclesfield, we work with a diverse range of clients to offer the benefits of sports massage to absolutely anyone with aches and pains; you don’t have to be a sports star to get relief from aches and pains and achieve full fitness!
Supporting everyone from office workers to professional athletes, we also travel across Cheshire to bring our expertise directly to clubs and institutions that need our on-hand help - whether that’s during training and practice or as an employment perk.
And it’s our extensive experience and expertise in working with clients to reach their goals that has seen us running our own fitness classes, helping those we work with get back to full health.
If you need support and relief from aches, pains and injuries - we’re here to help. Just fill in the form on the right, and we’ll be in touch!
Emma Venables is our Principal Massage Therapist, and is fully qualified with a wealth of experience in treating clients with all varieties of injuries and ailments. She’s worked with Olympic swimmers and elite Chinese athletes in Shanghai, and regularly provides pitch-side support for Crewe and Nantwich Rugby Clubs with first aid practice and Kinesio taping.
With a passion for sports and exercise, Emma was watching and joining in with just about every kind of game she could find from the moment she could walk. Excelling in football, she’s suffered just about every injury you could imagine, from a ruptured cruciate ligament to torn cartilage.
Eventually, these injuries forced her to give up playing at a competitive level, and drove her passion towards helping people prevent and recovery from injury, so they don’t have to experience the pain or frustration that she went through.
Alongside rehabilitation, injury prevention is just as important to Emma, which is where the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) plays its part. Emma is fully certified in carrying out the screen to assess a person’s weakness and create a personalised program to address them, subsequently preventing injury.
Emma’s passion for helping people achieve their goals has resulted in her skills extending into instructing fitness classes, where she now helps clients improve their strength, flexibility and general fitness through a variety of Pilates and Circuit.
Emma loves nothing more than the pride and satisfaction she gets from seeing a client returned to full fitness and a healthy, injury-free body!
